culture rights is an international network of academics, cultural practitioners, and researchers committed to furthering knowledge and experience through equitable exchange and support across racialised and cultural boundaries.
culture rights works to: • encourage members to undertake research, create, exhibit, and publish work internationally • support members in their career development in international academies, Media Institutions, agencies, collectives, and associations • promote and manage the annual cr research fellowship • support the creation of cr discussion panels and presentation groups to strategic international meetings, conference, and other events • assist in the development of cr research groups between members and encourage national and international funding applications for research and media practice work • campaign for equitable and fair knowledge and information exchange between colleagues internationally, particularly between countries representing the north/south divide• campaign for equitable and fair information exchange, knowledge and recognition of cultural practice in international academies of teaching and research and related media institutions, agencies, collectives, and associations • maintain an online presence as a way to identify each other, share relevant resources, information, comment and archives. • create formal and informal networking events. |
